about

Interestingly, the man who wrote these lyrics was an atheist. How could one who does not believe pen such beautiful and truthful words? When religious leaders told Jesus to make his people stop shouting his praises, he said "If they keep silent, even the stones will cry out." Then he said “If you had only known on this day what would bring you peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes. The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you.” We will not keep silent; we will recognize; we will fall on our knees.

lyrics

O holy night
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of the dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appeared and the soul felt its worth

Fall on your knees
O hear the angel voices
O night divine
O night when Christ was born
O night divine
O night divine

Truly He taught us to love one another
His law is love and His gospel is peace
Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother
And in His name all oppression shall cease

Fall on your knees
O hear the angel voices
O night divine
O night when Christ was born
O night divine
O night divine

Leper Chicago

Hundreds of years ago, Leper emerged from the cold clay of a long-forgotten grave in a forested fog somewhere between Skotland and Sveden. The pulsating rhythm from within the tomb still in the chest, the now-breathing creature –reanimated, stunned, staring down – remembers.... how a lifeless wretch lives again. ... more
